Privacy Policy — Countdown

1. Summary

Countdown is designed to work entirely on your device. We do not operate servers that store personal information about you, we do not run analytics or advertising SDKs, and we do not share data with third parties. The short version: we don’t collect anything.

2. Information stored on your device

The App stores the following information locally on your device only, using Apple’s standard storage mechanisms (UserDefaults and the App’s sandboxed file container):

• Your game preferences (haptics, notifications time, relax mode, etc.)
• Your game history, statistics, streaks, and trophies
• Your saved daily puzzles and progress
• Onboarding completion state
• Your in-app purchase entitlement (whether you have unlocked the premium content)

This information never leaves your device. It is not transmitted to us or to any third party. If you delete the App, this information is removed by iOS along with it. iCloud Backup may include this data if you have iCloud Backup enabled in iOS Settings, in which case it is governed by Apple’s privacy practices.

3. Information we do not collect

The App does not collect, transmit, or store any of the following:

• Personal identifiers (name, email, phone number, address)
• Account credentials (the App has no account system)
• Device advertising identifiers (IDFA), tracking identifiers, or fingerprinting data
• Location data
• Contacts, photos, microphone, or camera data
• Crash logs or analytics events sent to us or to third parties
• Browsing or usage telemetry

4. Purchases

In-app purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store using StoreKit. When you purchase the premium content, Apple handles the payment and shares only a transaction receipt with the App so that we can unlock the content you bought. We do not see, store, or process your payment information (credit card, Apple ID, billing address, etc.). Apple’s privacy practices for App Store transactions are described at apple.com/legal/privacy.

5. Notifications

If you enable Daily Reminder notifications in Settings, the App schedules local notifications on your device using Apple’s User Notifications framework. No push notifications are sent from a remote server, no device push token is collected, and the reminder content never leaves your device.

6. Game Center

The App supports Apple Game Center. If you have Game Center enabled in iOS Settings, Apple may use your Game Center identity for features such as leaderboards or achievements. Game Center is operated by Apple and governed by Apple’s privacy practices, not by us. The App itself does not store your Game Center credentials.

7. Children’s privacy

The App does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because the App does not collect personal information from anyone, no special rules apply for children under 13 (or other applicable minimum age in your jurisdiction).

8. Third-party services

The App does not embed third-party analytics, advertising, attribution, or tracking SDKs. The only external services involved in the App’s operation are Apple platform services (App Store, StoreKit, Game Center, User Notifications, iCloud Backup if you enable it), which are governed by Apple’s privacy practices.

9. Your rights

Because we do not hold personal data about you, there is generally nothing for us to access, correct, export, or erase on your behalf. You can clear all locally stored game data at any time by deleting the App from your device. 10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be reflected here, and continued use of the App after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
